Wentworth-Douglass is currently seeking a full time Certified Nurse Midwife. To care for childbearing patients during preconception, prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum periods, and provides family-planning counseling and gynecological care. Offering alternative childbearing experiences to low-risk, uncomplicated patients. Encouraging active participation of the patient and their family during pregnancy and childbirth. Providing holistic, continuous care, safe clinical management, and education. Supporting the patient during the childbirth process, and also ensures that patients who have more complex health needs receive the care most suited to them from other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
 

Qualification:

We require candidates be a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) accreditation. Bachelor's in nursing, and Master's in advanced clinical Practice or graduate of post masters certificate program for nurse practitioner preferred. Previous first assist experience helpful.
