Fortis Recruitment are looking to hire a number of trainee recruitment consultants to join our team based in Reading. You will be trained in the whole recruitment lifecycle from taking a details job specification to managing the offer process and everything in between - all we are asking is that candidates have a desire to succeed and willing to put in the effort to get there.
After the initial training period there are a number of roles that you could move into. The first is into a resourcing role where you job is to find candidates for live jobs, these are either with long term existing clients or new clients that other consultants are working with. The 2nd option is to focus purely on business development, this involves building a network of clients in your chosen market and building relationships that culminates in you advising them on recruitment drives and strategies. The final option is to be a 360 recruitment consultant, this includes both business development and resourcing. This choice give you 100% control over your outcomes ans you manage the entire process.
The trainee recruitment consultants will be following a training program that covers all elements of recruitment. It will include "classroom" sessions, you listening to experienced consultants on the phone, the trainer listening into some of your calls and giving you feedback and session where you learn about the technical elements to the market that you will be working in.
Fortis Recruitment work in the engineering and technology sectors so the plan would be for you to pick a specialism in one of those areas. We are a close knit team and all help each other out when needed. It is not a high pressure environment but we are all focused on succeeding and expect each other to have the same attitude.
