Our client is a specialist civil engineering company with a national reach and working on exciting projects in the Built Environment, Infrastructure and Renewables sector.
The role will report to the HSQEW Project Manager and requires the candidate to be flexible and adapt to the needs of the business. You will need to maintain strong communication with other HSQE coordinators and be willing to support as and when required.
There is an entry level opportunity and for this role, there will be the opprtunity to attend site alongside the HSQE Team to help further your understanding of HSQE and the wider business.
The succssful candidate will recieve excellent training and progression opportunities to develop within the HSQE team.
Primary Tasks and Duties: Support the HSQEW Project Manager Support the Lead HSQE Managers and HSQE Teams Compiling weekly HSQE bulletin packs Compiling HSQE reports for varying management levels Investigation - supporting live investigations as instructed (this may require visiting site locations) Collation of business HSQE KPI's Compile Board Reports Manage action logs Coordinate the management of open notification status in regard to all event reporting Secondary Tasks and Duties: Develop any Client HSQE reports as required Work closely with HSQE and Compliance Managers to process relevant documentation in adherence to ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 if required Participate in internal/external audits including coordinating/initiating necessary activities for preparation/follow up Other ad hoc administrative duties that may be required for this role Your qualifications, skills and experience should include: Essential: Previous experience working within a fast paced team/department. Full UK Driving Licence Interest in: Accident/Investigation Health & Safety Environmental Construction / Infrastructure/Renewables Essential: Microsoft Excel - ability to understand, correct and use formulas in spreadsheets Skills and Abilities Excellent person management and relationship skills, comfortable working effectively within a broad range of working environments. Strong Admin- Excellent standard of written and numerical literacy. Strong IT Skills - Proficient in the use of Microsoft 360 (particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Capable of delivering confident articulate presentations. Time management skills and able to work to deadlines. Great organisational skills - prioritising workload Willing to progress and develop at request of the business Hands on approach to problem solving Good standard of written and numerical literacy People person and a strong team member Experience taking meeting minutes, managing action logs.
