SEN Teaching Assistant Ealing

Are you someone who has a real passion for working with children with SEND and think you have transferable skills and experience?

If the answer to any of these are YES then you might be perfect for the role of SEND Teaching Assistant, working 1:1 with students who have additional needs!

Protocol Education are currently working with an Ofsted rated 'Good' school in the West London Borough of Ealing. The school are looking for a candidate who is dedicated to providing the correct care and learning experiences for young children with SEN. The successful candidate will have relevant experience working within Key Stage 1. This role is full-time, starting in September.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • To help in the preparation and organisation of classroom resources including adjusting in classroom layout
  • To feedback information to the Teacher in Charge of the Provision on the observed difficulties in understanding or skills.
  • To lead small group activities within a class, as directed by the teacher, to support students
  • To work to the direction of the teacher and to support the setup of individual schedules and work systems.
  • To help the students work as independently as possible
  • The ability to work well within a team
  • Passionate and interested with working with children for SEND
  • Patient and understanding approach
