Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Rents Officer for a national housing association. The role is on an initial contract until the end of September, paying £20 per hour and can be performed remotely.
The role:
- To deliver a high quality income management service to customers
- To maximise income collection and improve performance against KPIs
- Assist customers in completing benefit/universal credit claims
- Sign post customers to both internal and external agencies who can provide welfare advice
- Effectively manage a caseload of customers accounts
- Ensure appropriate legal action is taken to recover debt
The person:
- Experienced in income management and enforcement
- Experience of working to performance targets
- Knowledge of welfare reform and welfare benefits
- Knowledge of legal frameworks relating to tenancy arrears recovery
- Excellent communication skills
- Clean driving license
