Job Title: Quality Inspection - Ultrasonic spot weld testing operator (NDT)

Contract: 6-month fixed term leading to permanent
Hours: 39 Hours per week. (2 Shifts OR 3 Shifts)
Salary: £21,294 + Shift allowance
Pin Point Recruitment has just received an exciting new vacancy for NDT Weld Testers to join our long term client within the automotive industry. This position provides full training and successful candidates can expect to obtain Level 1 NDT lavender training free of charge.
The role involves working within a quality department to confirm the integrity of resistance in spot welds, using highly technical and sensitive ultrasound equipment. The role demands a high level of personal integrity with regards to exceeding the standards set by the Quality Departmental management.
Candidates shall be monitored against key performance indicators, these well be set and clearly communicated. You will be regularly assessed and given regular reviews to make sure you are achieving targets and feedback will be given on your progress to make sure you are hitting your criteria goals.

Experience and Qualifications Required
Minimum of grade D Maths and English or Level 1 Functional Skills in Maths and English
Good communication skills necessary
The ability to be totally flexible and operate under pressure
Full training to be given to a competent level in ultrasonic testing of spotwelds
