Project Manager / Fibre/ Utilities/ Telecommunications
We are on the search for a Project Manager who has experience in the fibre sector.
As part of the Fibre Team, reporting directly to Operations Manager, this position is to manage the day-to-day operations at site level on assigned projects and /or Framework Contracts providing installation and maintenance services within the Comms Fibre division.
Manage day to day work operations and installation scheduling across all comms clients
Ensuring any additional works are agreed and documented
Conduct and document as required site surveys for new installations Control
Management and documentation of both internal and client stores
Site H&S checks on contractors and direct employees
Ensure RAMS and Method statements are being adhered too
Ensure teams are carrying out "Site Specific Risk Assessments" Liaison with Procurement to ensure materials ordered / called-off in a timely manner Completion of Employee Timesheets
Labour and Plant & Transport Return sheets Monitoring and review of site training records
To support the contract in its compliance under CDM
The ideal candidate will be competent in management with a positive attitude as well as technically competent in Fibre optics installation techniques and testing procedures. Good organisational and time-management skill, good communications skills, written & verbal.
Qualifications and experience desirable for this role include a minimum 5 years' experience in fibre project management, NSRWA qualified and CSCS card
