Our local authority client has a 3-month contract vacancy (with the possibility of extension) for the role of a PROJECT LEAD OFFICER (HOMES FOR UKRAINE), details as follows
To be overseeing and coordinating the delivery of the Homes for Ukraine programme. This includes organising home visits, DBS checks, welcome and thankyou payments as well as being the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
To be main point of contact within organisation on Homes for Ukraine.
To ensure that the organisation comply with government guidance on the scheme in its processes and procedures.
To be responsible for updating and monitoring of Foundry, spreadsheets and other systems used in the project.
To develop and monitor current processes and procedures and propose improvements.
Manage public communication, including email to sponsors and our website.
To provide information and support to staff handling queries on Homes for Ukraine, managing emails, phonecalls and other communications.
Make recommendations and decisions around areas like safeguarding, risk assessment, in relation to individual applications.Essential Requirements
Educated to A-Level standard (including GCSEs or equivalent (A-C) in English Language and Maths
Project management qualification is desirable.
Significant experience in delivering high quality services to the public.
Understanding and appreciation of equality and diversity
Working knowledge and appreciation of safeguarding
To be experienced in using a range of IT software - outlook, excel, word
