We own and manage c.7,000 homes in the East of England, working closely with other agencies and stakeholders within our communities.

Requirements

Outline of key responsibilities:

  • Manage, monitor, and report on repairs, aids and adaptations and contractor performance
  • To ensure that customers' needs are satisfied by effective communication and efficient organisation of the works, plus the embedding of a customer focus approach to service delivery.
  • Manage the repairs and adaptations & adaptations budgets, with a demonstrable knowledge of value for money' and its application.
  • To assist with the discharge of various regulations issued by the Health and Safety Executive and other regulatory bodies, as well as our own policies.
  • To lead and support technicians in terms of recruitment, training, complaints, disciplinaries and performance, including the effective management of 121's of direct reports

About you

  • Technical background in property repairs and maintenance.
  • Experience in leading or managing a team of operative/technicians
  • On-site hands-on experience within the building/repairs trade
  • Awareness and understanding of asbestos management legislation

  • An annual salary of up to £34,633.75 (Depending on experience) per annum, plus a car allowance of £1,545 or a company van.
