Family Medicine Residency
Faculty, Family Medicine Residency to work in the area, and be responsible for supervising assigned residents as a faculty advisor.
Duties include (among others): (i) meeting with Medical Residents to review academic and professional development; (ii) completing evaluations of Medical Residents; (iii) supervising Medical Residents during clinic and in-home patient visits; (iv) precepting Medical Residents in Family Health Clinic; (v) acting as admitting physician at Continuous Care Center for Family Medicine Center patients; (vi) presenting lectures to Medical Residents; (vii) serving as Attending Physician for Family Medicine inpatient service; (viii) providing outpatient care for Family Medicine Center patients; and (ix) participating in Family Medicine Center faculty meetings.
Must have MD, DO, or foreign equivalent degree plus Family Medicine Residency or Internal Medicine Residency training. Must also have (or be eligible for) WV medical license; be BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine; possess valid DEA certificate; and be able to obtain hospital privileges.
