A Northern California Medical Center is looking for a Physical Therapist to join their PT Department. This Northern California hospital is a Critical Care facility that currently provides 8-beds and a 50-bed Skilled Nursing Facility. It sits in the Northeastern region of California, close to the boarders of both Oregon and Nevada. The hospital has been newly renovated and has been renovated along with the Primary care Clinic and Outpatient Pharmacy. The Physical Therapy department is located outside of the hospital, down the street, allowing for access to the hospital and the skilled nursing facility. This Physical Therapist will be proud to work in a Physical Therapy department that helps its community ranging all across Northern California
This Physical Therapist will report to the Director of Physical Therapy and will be responsible for duties such as:
- Administering physical agents prescribed by a referring physician.
- Maintaining performance improvements activities withing the department.
- Developing and implementing systems for reviewing department charges and ensuring patient charges are accurate.
- Assessing if patients pain interferes with optimal level of function.
This Physical Therapy department is looking for a Physical Therapist who is comfortable treating and working with all ages. The patient population will mostly be geriatrics, as there is a large Skilled Nursing Facility connected to the hospital.
