I am currently working with an expanding International finance team within a recruitment company with a turnover of £65 million. The role will be responsible in helping run the APAC region with the possibility for expansion in the future.

The role will report into the MA and is an exciting opportunity for a Part Qualified Accountant The company prides itself on development and retention of its staff and the role will offer genuine opportunity for career advancement.

The successful individual will be career-focused, enthusiastic, possess great communication skills and have a strong working knowledge of Excel, part qualified in ACCA/CIMA and at least 2-3 year s experience in a similar accountant role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analysing company overheads for month end review, ensuring the costs are split by teamEnsure that all contractor payrolls (Including the PAYE and IR35 payrolls) are posted into AP ledger or journaled prior to month end• Carrying out bank reconciliations for GBP, EUR, CHF, SGD & USD bank accounts and bank revaluations• Understand VAT codes in order to prepare the quarterly VAT returns to be submitted to the Central Group Finance Team (CGFT) for filing• Calculating PSA (PAYE Settlement Agreement) with the help of the Management Accountant to be submitted to CGFT for review and filing• Taking ownership of the internal expense process including the review of staff expenses that are received into the shared inbox prior to manager review and ensuring that the correct amounts/ VAT code/ Nominal code has been entered• Oversee the SAP Concur submissions of credit card expenses, pulling relevant reports for month end accrual reporting where relevant• Managing and updating the cashflow for the company entities, submitting daily variance report to the Treasury team• Post the central intercompany charges journals for all inter companies and complete true-ups at half year and yearend in line with the intra-group transfer pricing agreement• Carrying out the monthly accruals and prepayments for the company• Calculating the consultant commissions once a month and GM accrual match off for Hobson Prior Ltd• Carrying out balance sheet reconciliations monthly• Maintaining the fixed asset register and depreciation charges for the company• Supporting the Management Accountant and the Finance Manager with the annual audit• Carrying out adhoc month end tasksWe want to hear from people with:

• Proven experience of at least 2-3 years in a similar capacity.• Part qualified ACCA or CIMA• Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)• Excellent knowledge of MS Office. Proficient in Excel, notably VLOOKUP and Pivot tables• Experience with general ledger functions and clear understanding of accrual-based accounting• Ability to priorities and work independently to tight month end deadlines.• Experience dealing with foreign currency transactions and bank accounts• Exceptional integrity and excellent communication skills both verbal and written• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills• Team player• Microsoft Great Plains• Knowledge of RSM Intime s pay and bill system• Experience within the recruitment sector and an understanding of timesheet-based billing
