The Recruitment Co are currently recruiting for an Office Assistant in Huddersfield on a temporary to permanent basis based in a Customer Service department.

Duties

Work closely with the customer service team
Administrative duties which include but not limited to;
Assisting with Order processing through different platforms with attention to detail key
Assisting with creating customer quotations with attention to detail key
Assisting with raising purchase orders through different platforms with attention to detail key
Market Research to help find new opportunities
Chasing Supplier delivery dates
Arranging business travel and accommodation for Sales team and Directors
Archiving
Scanning
Making external calls including but not limited to customers and suppliers when needed in a professional friendly manner
Communicate internally and externally with email professionally
Answering incoming calls to the business - these will be a mixture of calls that need forwarding to other colleagues or dealing with right there and then.
Produce courier shipping notes and manage delivery issues - trying to resolve these as quickly as possible.
Obtain shipping POD's when required.
Helping and assisting the purchasing department with

Hours
Monday - Friday 10am - 2pm (some flexibility in hours and days)

Pay
£20k - £22k p/a
