My client wishes to appoint a full-time Office/Sales Administrator to work in Ipswich (IP3). The successful applicant will have previous administrative or data experience and excellent communication skills; training will be given.

Hours & Salary:

  • Full-time
  • up to £21,000 per annum

What is the day-to-day of the role:

  • To establish and maintain an effective customer relationship, giving customers confidence to maintain and grow their business with Hubbard
  • To effectively communicate with all internal departments where necessary coordinating customer requirements to achieve agreed deadlines
  • To react positively to all incoming calls, identifying customer requirements / needs and responding appropriately.
  • To ensure that call originators requirements are satisfied or exceeded wherever possible by accepting ownership of issues arising from calls and pursuing them to a satisfactory conclusion.
  • To pass updated information back to the call originator so that they remain accurately informed of order/query status.
  • To handle incoming sales calls and enquiries, recording the details appropriately to enable orders to be fulfilled effectively.
  • To process all orders accurately and on a timely basis cross-referencing, where applicable, with the appropriate quotation.
  • To carry out the day-to-day administrative tasks including housekeeping, voice mail records and maintaining data on the computer system.
  • To send information to all field-based personnel.
  • Responsible for sending literature to customers and maintaining stocks.
  • To assist with any general office duties e.g. filing, mailshots etc
  • To effectively carry out any duties reasonably requested to ensure the effectiveness of the Department.
  • To effectively liaise with the customer regarding required delivery date and where necessary organising dedicated deliveries

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Expertise with the full Office suite including a thorough working knowledge of Excel.
  • The ability to use databases and able to learn any new system rapidly.
  • Sales experience is desirable
