A Portland Area non profit Medical Center is actively seeking a Wound Care Nurse Manager to join their renown healthcare organization.
The Wound Care Nurse leader will report to the Nurse Director of Ambulatory Care Services and will collaborate with the Medical Director. The Wound Care Center Nurse Manager will be supported by 2 Wound Care Supervisors.
The Wound Care Center has been part of the Medical Center for over 50 years and provides the highest level of care to patients suffering from chronic wounds and traumatic injuries. The Wound Care Center treats a number of patients suffering from: Diabetic ulcers, Pressure ulcers, Ischemic ulcers, venous insufficiency, non-healing surgical wounds, Burns and Traumatic wounds. The Wound Care Center uses a diverse number of treatments: Debridement, Bioengineered tissue substitutes, compression and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
The ideal candidate for the Wound Care Nurse and Hyperbaric Center Manager will have experience working with Wound Care Patients, and experience with inpatient or ambulatory care nurse management. Though not required, a Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (WOCN) would be a plus for any candidate.
The Nurse Manager Wound Care will be responsible for all budgeting, hiring, staff retention and scheduling for the center. Additionally, the Nurse Manager will be responsible for the overall patient care, and quality measures of the Healing Center.

The Nurse Manager of Wound Ostomy and Hyperbaric Services will be eligible for a competitive compensation package that includes salary, health and wellness coverage, $10,000 sign on bonus, relocation assistance and additional benefits like PTO and performance bonuses.
