The Night Shift Nurse Manager Labor Delivery will join a large, fast paced Women and Children Services department which is home to their High Risk Pregnancy Center, 6 OB ED beds, 18+bed labor and delivery unit, Mother Baby department, and Level IV NICU. Reporting to the Service Line Director of Women, Children and Infants, the Night Shift Nurse Manager Labor Delivery will lead their Labor & Delivery department which has over 5,000 annual births. Responsible for the Night Shift Nurse Manager Labor Delivery include staff scheduling, new hire education, conflict resolution, maintaining up to date policy procedures, and ensuring hospital, state and federal compliance is being maintained.
Ideally the Night Shift Nurse Manager Labor Delivery will be up to date on best practices, offer a clinical background working in a fast paced Labor Delivery department, and have previous hospital-based management experience. The Night Shift Nurse Manager Labor Delivery must also be a seasoned nurse who is eligible to obtain their North Carolina RN or compact multistate Registered Nurse license upon hire.
