Electrically Bias Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer - 4 on 4 off 12 Hour Days & Nights - Excellent package
My client is looking to hire an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, with a slight Electrical bias.
They are a specialist manufacturer / producer of prime and recycled polymers. In fact they are one of the largest companies in the uk currently and have a very bright future ahead of them.
They are looking for an experienced maintenance engineer to join the team. You will Have a proven track record in a Multi-Skilled Engineering Team Member role gained from within a FMCG environment ( Food / Pharma / beverage / packaging / logistics)
Duties to include but not limited to;
Preventative maintenance on machines and equipment;
Responding to emergency breakdowns throughout the plant;
Ability to investigate and diagnose root cause of equipment failures and deliver effective repairs
Must have a minimum 5 years Electrical Maintenance experience in an engineering / manufacturing environment
Experience of continuous improvements programmes
To be aware of budget and stock control and maintain paperwork to a high standard.
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
Must have a positive "can do" attitude and the ability to work individually and within teams.
The Ideal Person -
Must be time served / HNC / NVQ level 3 - must be proactive and have a systematic approach to problem solving. Good communication skills and be able to establish and maintain effective contact with staff and key partners, suppliers and contractors. Must be flexible and Self Motivated.
Required Qualifications
HNC / Time served / NVQ level 3 Elec Minimum
17th / 18th Edition
Need basic PLC knowledge
knowledge and experience of hi speed machinery / FMCG manufacturing environments
