MOHR Test and Measurement, a manufacturer of highly sensitive and versatile electronic test

instruments, is seeking a mechanical engineer. The mechanical engineer will work alongside the

engineering team to design electronics enclosures, piping systems, structures, and accessories for MOHR's various testing equipment. The mechanical engineers will also be responsible for creating and maintaining CAD models and manufacturing drawings for MOHR's products. A successful candidate will have most of the following qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent from an accredited university
  • Experience using 3D CAD modeling software, preferably SOLIDWORKS
  • Experience creating 2D manufacturing drawings, using ASME Y14.5 GD&T to define tolerances.
  • Familiarity with various fabrication processes, including machining, bending/forming,

casting, welding, laser cutting, waterjet, etc.

  • Experience with piping system and component design, as well as applicable standards (ASME, AWS, etc.)
  • Experience using a finite element analysis software package, preferably ANSYS Workbench
  • Hands-on mechanical abilities and experience using tools in the shop as needed is desirable
  • Knowledge of high temperature and time dependent behaviors of various metals, such as

steel, Inconel, and Zircaloy is desirable.

  • Familiarity with hazardous area design and intrinsic safety for oil field applications is desirable.
  • Nuclear design experience is desirable.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
