We are currently seeking a Manager of Compensation & Benefits and Mobility (m f d) for our HR Operations, Systems & Policies business based at our headquarters in Goettingen, Germany (Sartorius Corporate Administration GmbH) with the possibility of remote work with individual attendance days in Göttingen. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring that Compensation & Benefits structures and Mobility offers meet current and future business needs and are in line with objectives regarding internal equity and external market competitiveness. The goal is to build an effective Center of Expertises team and proactively partner with all relevant stakeholders, e.g., the Divisional HR Business Partners and local HR, to support business and functional leaders.
What you will accomplish together with us
Further develop our coherent Compensation & Benefits and Mobility strategy and ensure external competitiveness and internal fairness of overall frameworks
Identify trends in the respective field of expertise and translate them in meaningful concepts / tools for the business
Lead the team of 7 experts and operate within established budgets and all relevant regulations, laws and employment standards
Partner with Divisional HR Business Partners to define requirements to attract and retain talent
Drive design and implementation of Compensation & Benefits programs, i.e., bonus programs, incl. executive and expatriate compensation, short-term, long-term and sales incentive plans, employee benefits
Drive consistency and efficiency among Compensation & Benefits and Mobility policies and practices
Monitor relevant KPIs and drive continuous improvement to ensure services and data quality
Assume responsibility for a globally consistent job architecture to facilitate integration of employees after M&A or other structural change
Oversee selection and management of ongoing relationships with external consultants and suppliers (e.g., insurance carriers, survey data and benefit providers)
What will convince us
Academic degree in management, business administration or similar
Several years of work experience in medium-sized, international company with focus on Compensation and Benefits and leading global teams and strategic projects on international level, ideally in context of M&A
Expertise in Workday (or a comparable HR software) and MS Office
Experience and ability to adapt quickly and work efficiently in an international business culture and in a complex matrix organization
Organized, a self-starter, conceptually strong whilst pragmatic and results-oriented and do hands-on change activities, high level of user customer orientation
Intercultural skills with willingness to travel internationally, fluency in English
