Description
The Installations Manager will be responsible for managing and ensuring all installations to end customer premises are installed to the high quality expected of the business. Directly managing the installations engineer s workload on a day-to-day basis, optimising the work force to deliver best in class customer service. You will report into the Head of Service Delivery and work with the business to achieve all customer connections to a high standard.
Responsibilites:.
Support the install team to deliver monthly install targets through optimisation of resource
Manager contractor resource against customer & organisational demand
Assist the install engineers in responding to customer faults and working with the support team with troubleshooting technical and queries
Liaise by phone with the Head office team to organise pre-installations, installations and arrange service calls with the install engineer team
Schedule and resource plan the team s day to day activity, including jeopardy management
Forecast resource requirements in line with sales pipeline
The right person will
Have a good understanding of fibre terminology and able to communicate this effectively to customers as well as colleagues within the business
Have demonstrable experience in scheduling and program management of field team
Be well-presented and able to demonstrate a professional image as the face of the business
Be able to demonstrate empathy with customers and colleagues - Personable and friendly
Be proactive and efficient, and willing to go the extra mile for customers
A self starter that can identify process improvements and ways of working
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Previous experience working in telecoms, good understanding or FTTP and PIA
Having worked in a managerial, scheduling or program management role
Have a current clean driving license with a willingness to travel and clear DBS certificate within the last 2 years
