I m currently recruiting for import operator to join an extremely exciting ever growing freight forwarding company based in Manchester city centre. They are seeking an import operator to support the current ocean import operation with their increasing workload.

The Candidate;
- Previous Freight forwarding experience is essential
- Experience of ocean imports freight is highly desirable
- Experience of handling container groupage is highly desirable
- Up to date knowledge of import regulations
- Have dealt with end-end logistical processes
- Experience of working within a fast paced shipping or logistics office
- Can do attitude taking responsibility
- Genuinely passionate in finding solutions for clients
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workloads
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to clearly communicate
- Confident in decision making and negotiating
- Must be able to work within a forward-thinking team
Duties and Responsibilities;
- Liaising with customers and overseas agents
- Quoting and arranging for customs clearance and delivery
- Handling invoice queries
- Creating container load plans in Cargowise
- Dealing with FCL s
- Arranging releases
