This is a unique role where you will be part of a small team operating as a wholly owned subsidiary firm based within a UK Top 300 Solicitors Practice with Offices in the City of London and Hertfordshire.

The IFA Administration role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Supporting advisors across the board
  • Supporting preparation of files for suitability report writing
  • Communicating with clients and product providers
  • Communicating with Solicitors and support teams within the practice
  • Managing Client affairs and requests
  • Preparing documents from Client Requests
  • Processing new business applications
  • Obtaining quotations and illustrations
  • Preparing documents for client meetings
  • Submitting letters of authority
  • General administration duties

Preferred Product Knowledge (Training will be provided on more specialist areas):

  • Protection
  • Investments
  • Inheritance Tax Planning
  • Retirement Planning
  • EIS & VCT & BR
  • Estate and Trust Planning

Experience

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience working in an IFA or Head Office Admin role. You will also be competent and experienced with platforms and have knowledge of pensions, investments, and protection. Excellent communication skills are essential as well as being methodical and having good attention to detail. FS Qualifications are desirable.
