Human Resource Recruitment Officer
Pertemps is looking for a full time permanent HR recruitment officer for a well-known manufacturing company based in Wellington, to join their busy team at the heart of their business.

You will be dealing with day-to-day enquiries from internal and external customers either by telephone, e-mails or face to face, handling disciplinary procedures and resolving grievances whilst supporting payroll. In addition, you will be managing the time and attendance system, managing prolonged or persistent sickness absence, processing new starters & leavers organising requests for Change (e.g., personal changes or work conditions) and preparing contract and offer letters.

It s a really varied role and not only will you be doing the above you will be conducting return to work and exit interviews, reviewing all appraisals and probations and processing holiday requests and expenses in a timely manner, and recruiting for positions that arise in the business in a quick timely manner using the facilities available to you using the company resources.

Ideal Candidate

Previous experience within HR and/or a 360 recruitment role
Good matching skills
Accurate data entry skills and great attention to detail
Able to work in a fast-paced environment; be good at multitasking and be able to prioritise your own workload
You will be able to work to timescales to manage people's expectations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with customer-focused attitude and telephone manner.
Salary £25,000 - £27,000 per annum
7.30-4pm or 8-4.30pm Monday - Friday
