Our client is a leading children s charity is looking for several Helpline Workers to join them on 3 months contracts. The working hours are 35 per week on a rota pattern.
As a Helpline Worker, you will empower the public to protect children and young people providing emotional support, practical guidance and help to anyone who thinks a child may be at risk of abuse. Working across a wide range of channels including telephone, email and social media, you ll ensure that enquiries and issues are handled in a professional way and be responsible for assessing the risk and liaising with external agencies to ensure effective action is taken to minimise the risk of any child.
To be considered for this role, you must have a social care (minimum NVQ level 2), health or education (teaching assistants) qualification and have extensive experience in safeguarding children and young people. You must have up to date knowledge of child protection legislation and have excellent customer service skills.
