Avanti Recruitment have partnered with a scale-up autonomous driving company to recruit a Junior-to-mid-level Engineer to join them developing some real state of the art software for object detection, tracking, mapping and navigation.
You ll be working with a best-in-class team and day to day your role will include:
Researching and developing novel algorithms in C++ to model vehicle behavior
Developing SLAM and perception software for trajectory and path planning
Being actively involved with vehicle trials and analysing test and simulation data
Playing an active role in contributing to C++ modules as they develop and evolve over time.
You ll need:
A good degree from a good University
Excellent C++
An interest in the autonomous driving space with an appreciation for the state of the art
Some hands-on experience (academic experience is fine) with Radar, LiDAR, camera systems or ultrasonics.
A naturally curious mind, this role includes research as well as development and you ll gain wide exposure across a range of projects.
