Endur BA - Contract - London - £700-800/day
We're working closely with one of the UK's largest commodities traders that are looking for an Endur Business Analyst to join them on an initial 6-month contract. This role will fall inside of IR35 and will require this person to go into their Canary Wharf based office 2/3 times per week. Role Description
This role will be working in a new area of the business relating to the trade and management of flexible generation power assets, primarily batteries but also CCG power stations. This team will be implementing a new operating model to manage these assets; it will need to interface new systems and data feeds (national grid; power auctions; weather forecasts) into existing trading and risk management systems (ETRMs).
The role will include but is not limited to:
- Endur ETRM change impact analysis
- Process definition, process improvement
- Gathering business requirements and recording them in a product backlog
- Elaborating backlog items ready for delivery
- Working with solution architecture to ensure an end-to-end systems landscape which meets business requirements
- Writing interface specifications
- Implementing a test regime to ensure quality across the delivery
- Project delivery, reporting, risk management
- Testing releases
- Working with a hybrid team of delivery resources (internal & external); utilising scrum methodology where relevant
- Provide regular reporting to project management
The candidate should have excellent communication skills and experience gained in a commercial environment, as set out below.
Essential Experience
- Hands on and expert level experience of Endur Openlink
- At least one globally traded market, preferably physical commodities
- Business analysis skills; process definition, process improvement, interface/integration specification
- Agile framework for software delivery, Azure Dev Ops(or similar)
