Stately Strategic are working in partnership with a leading aerospace business in the Derby area, they are looking for an Edgecam programmer who can join their team and provide a positive contribution to there manufacturing site.
The ideal candidate will be a strong team player and be able to meet targets, to be considered for the role the candidate will have the following skills and has the ability to program online and offline on either Turning and/or Milling Machines
Main duties include:
Write Programs Offline.
Prove out programs
Review programs in order to gain optimum cycle times
On-line programming as and when required
Develop and maintain effective communication links with fellow colleagues to ensure the above.
Undertake additional training and other relevant duties as required.
Skills / Experiences:
Fanuc and/or Heidenhain
Experience of using Edgecam
Experience of using CAD/CAM
Good organisational skills, demonstrated through the ability to plan and prioritise
Ability to challenge and question existing processes based on knowledge and experience
