We are a local firm of Business Advisers, Chartered Accountants and Tax Specialists, with a number of offices in Birmingham and the West Midlands, who inspire growth and help small and medium-sized businesses to unlock their potential.

We are a friendly, approachable team of advisers that have the knowledge and experience to work with clients, to help build more successful businesses and we like to have fun along the way.

We are looking to further develop our teams in Birmingham and other offices and are looking for Client Managers who have the ability and personality to add value to our clients and our team.

Ideally, you will come with practice experience and have a good understanding of accounts, tax, and business advisory projects. Experienced individuals from Industry are also welcome. Our firm works with a wide range of businesses, and we will give you the opportunity to work on an interesting and varied client portfolio.

The successful candidate will join an exciting and fun team in a company that has significant growth plans for the future and focusses on employee development and engagement.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN INDIVIDUALS:

Qualified / Part Qualified Accountant with experience in an accountancy practice

Dynamic client and people skills

Outgoing personality, with a real desire to help people and clients

Knowledge of Cloud based Accounts systems, like Xero, Sage etc. would be beneficial

Ability to manage own workload and work both independently and as part of the team

Strong attention to detail and ability to process information accurately

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Working with a Client portfolio to help them with their annual and monthly accounts

Producing and submitting VAT returns, Corporation Tax and Self-Assessment returns

Liaising with Clients to build relationships and ensure their needs and statutory deadlines are delivered effectively.

Providing client advice in an accurate, appropriate, and timely manner

Helping Clients with other services, for example, payroll, annual returns, forecasts, and business plans

Reviewing the work of team members and coaching them where appropriate to ensure client work delivered is accurate and timely

Opportunities to attend network events to promote the business and personal development
