Cash Office Administrator
Harper Recruitment Group are super proud to be recruiting for a successful, highly reputable auction house with a well-known and loved name in Nottingham. Due to exceptionally impressive staff retention rates, it is unusual that they need to recruit! However, we have a rare opportunity for someone special to join their friendly and fun cash office team.
Working as part of a well-established, supportive, and welcoming team you will receive full training to undertake a variety of duties. You will play a key role in ensuring their customers receive an efficient, personable customer service experience, reflective of their brand and reputation.
Duties will include
Handling large amounts of cash, cheques, and processing card payments
Manually calculating cash payments and issuing correct change
Using a bespoke database to process orders and generate invoices
Providing friendly, professional face to face customer service
Communicating over the telephone and resolving a variety of enquiries efficiently and in a relatable and professional manner
Responding to emails using outlook regarding customer enquiries
Inputting numerical data onto Excel spreadsheets accurately.
Skills and experience required:
Great communication style with a welcoming and professional telephone manner
Numerate with the ability to make manual calculations accurately
MS Office Excel and Outlook - Basic level
Must be able to work Saturdays until 3.30 pm with a day off in the week
The ability to make a great cup of tea is essential - they will provide the biscuits!
The rest will be trained as long as you bring a people-orientated, helpful approach and a positive can-do attitude.
