This local authority has already achieved a GOOD OFSTED rating, partly due to their comprehensive early help offer and children and families benefiting from access to a wide range of multi-agency support services.
Caseloads are currently sitting comfortably with 12 families per social worker, the team only has 100 children which is below the average for the region. Caseload allocation is very stable with assessments being completed within 30 days and very few of them being escalated to care proceedings.
This is a well resourced local authority, open to new innovative ideas and they have SISP team who conduct in-house assessments for pre-court proceedings, this allows social workers to have a more manageable workload.

A Qualified Social Worker with up-to-date Social Work England registration
