Account manager for Leading Travel Management Company

London or Manchester based - 3 days in the office 2 from home

With the scope for new opportunities opening up across the industry, we are working more and more with clients who are keen to think outside of their previous hiring patterns.With that in mind, we're looking to assist our client in recruiting for an Account Manager to handle a portfolio of corporate and entertainment clients & manage the relationship to a high standard. You'll be working for a company that places huge importance on autonomy, on treating their staff like humans and not numbers and who strive to find balance between work/life for all employees.Do you need specific Account Management experience from a TMC?They'd love if it you have some but it's absolutely not essential.What IS essential is that you understand:

How a TMC operates - you could be a Senior Business Travel Consultant or even a Corporate Account Manager from a hotel

  • How to manage a client effectively, even when the going gets tough
  • How to add value to your clients business and how to interpret and understand their needs
  • The importance of analytics, data and reporting in helping to assess, adjust and explain to your clients how their travel program is working

This is a position in which your client facing skills must be top notch as you ll be attending regular meetings and presenting new proposals to your clients based on your analysis of their current travel program. You ll identify new business opportunities as well as spotting areas for growth within your current client base and always be thinking one step ahead when it comes to delivering an exceptional service. You will get to work on such a variety of aspects of Account Management including supplier relations, reporting, sustainability projects.... you'll never feel pigeon holed, you'll genuinely become an expert in your field.What's the package?
